NCGA Qualifiers with Hittin Links are ONLY available to players that host their GHIN through the Tour. If you select “Bring your GHIN” membership, then you CANNOT signup for an NCGA qualfier

What is an NCGA Qualifier?  So, the NCGA host 2 championships for associate clubs like us every year.  These Championships are awesome 2 day events at Poppy Hills and the other is 2 days at Black Horse/Bayonet where the top players from all of NCGA Associate Clubs across NorCal battle to win the trophy!  To determine the top players, NCGA host qualifier events where clubs like us send our best players to play a one day event with a chance to make it into the Championship.  So how do we determine our best players to send to represent us at the NCGA Championship qualifier? To do this we take 2 of our regular season events and make them our qualifier for the qualifier and give players a chance to represent Hittin Links at an NCGA Championship!  Typically if our team makes it in the top 3 or top 5 of teams at the NCGA qualifier they will qualify to represent Hittin Links in the NCGA championships at Poppy or Black Horse.

Hittin Links Qualifiers in 2026:

  1. Qualifier 1:NCGA Associate Club Four-Ball Net ($187 pp)
    1. Our first qualifier will be at the Franco SZN5 Kick Off Classic at Micke Grove on Jan 24th 2026.  The top division winner and low overall gross will get first chance at competing in the NCGA qualifier.  If any of the top 4 can’t compete we will go down the leaderboard until we have 4 players that will compete in the NCGA qualifier.
  2. Qualifier 2: NCGA Associate Club Championship:*** ($169 pp)
    1. Our second qualifier will be at the Yay Area Masters at Corica Park on Mar 21st 2026.  The top 2 overall net teams will get first chance at competing in the NCGA qualifier.  If any of the top 2 teams can’t compete we will go down the leaderboard until we have 4 players that will compete in the NCGA qualifier.

***NOTE: This year for Qualifier 2 the team from last year that didn’t get to participate will represent us including: Jeremy H, DJ F, Andy G and Mike S. If any of these players cant participate we will pull from the standings at the Yay Area Masters

Before you register (after qualifying) for the qualifier, please confirm you are available for both the qualifier date and the championship dates below.  Players MUST be available to play in both because NCGA does not allow qualifiers to be replaced. See dates below which the qualifying team will decide what they want to do:

33rd NCGA Associate Club Four-Ball Net – 1st – $187 a player

  • NCGA Qualifier options:
    • Baylands – 4/6
    • Santa Rosa – 4/6
    • Ancil Hoffman – 4/6
    • Ranch Solano – 4/9
    • Monterey Pines – 4/15
    • Corica South – 4/16
  • NCGA Championship (if we qualify): Poppy Hills (2 rounds) – May 4-5
  • FORMAT: Traditional Net Team Best Ball.  The 4 players will be split into 2 different team to compete in best ball.

43rd NCGA Associate Club Championship – 2nd – $169 a player

  • NCGA Qualifier options:
    • Baylands – 7/27
    • Santa Rosa – 7/27
    • Paradise Valley – 7/29
    • Ancil Hoffman – 7/30
    • Del Monte – 7/30
    • Monarch Bay – 8/4
  • NCGA Championship (if we qualify): Black Horse / Bayonet (2 rounds) – Aug 24-25
  • FORMAT: Best two balls of four net stroke play.  The 4 players are split into two groups.  The team score will be the best 2 scores of the 4 combined.
