There is NO minimum or maximum of tournaments that Tour Players can play. Whether you can only make it out to a few tournaments a year or you’re out there every month, everyone still has a chance to win and have fun.
The majority of Tour events are held Saturday and Sunday mornings. There are some events that are all weekend as well. As we grow there may be options for expansion into the weekdays.
We keep it fresh and play a different course every event. Some events have multiple locations. So on estimate we play about 25-30 different courses each season.
We play courses all over the Northern CA with the majority within 1 hour drive from either Sacramento or San Francisco.
The Tour is built different in many ways, not the least of which is give our players the opportunity to win real prize funds in the form of Tour Credits that can be used to purchase Tour Merch and signup for tour events. So each membership includes a “donation” to the prize fund which is used to pay out winners of our many championships on Tour.
All of our tournaments are scored using the USGA Net calculations giving every player the best chance to play well and win. So each division will have a net winner for each event. AND we also have a low gross winner for each event as well.
The average handicap of players on the Tour is 19 with score average between 92-102 so yes all are welcome. So we have many players that shoot in the 70’s, many in the 80-90’s and lot’s in the 100’s. We only ask that players be playing at least 6 months before signing up, try to practice when you can and just don’t play slow. If you shoot in the 100’s but you can keep pace with players in front of you, then your more then welcome here. And if you can’t reach out to management and we will help you get there. 🙂
Trust us most of us aren’t that good at this game we are absolutely obsessed with. The beauty of golf and the handicap system is anyone can play and compete. And here on Tour we have the best group of people who will help get you up to speed and a management group that’s always available to help. We don’t allow assholes or anyone who’s found intimidating other players, your safe to enjoy the game with the Tour.
Absolutely! When signing up for a tournament just enter the player you want to partner with and we will set you up.
Your membership fee and each tournament fee includes contributions that goes directly into a separate fund used to pay out the winners of the Tour events at the end of the season. And any winnings during tournament play are placed into your own tour bank account and are accessible to use for any future events. These Tour Credits are good forever to be used for anything on our website. Tour credits are not legal tender and cannot be exchanged for physical or virtual money.
