INFO: 18 holes walking (flat short course ~1000 yards). Par 3 course is on the opposite side of the parking lot to the main course so park nearest the par 3 course. No need to go to the main pro shop, check in with us at the par 3 course. No range balls included or needed, but if you need them you can purchase at the range which is close to the par 3 course.

PAYMENT: Must pay registration fee at signup to secure spot. If you elect to pay later you must make payment by deadline: 2/15 or you can’t participate. *Note: if you choose to pay later, you may lose your spot if the event fills before payment.

FORMAT: 2 man teams, 9 holes twice (18 total), 9 Hole Tee Flip Scramble + 9 hole 3 club Alternate Shot = final score. Review “How does it work” for more info.

TEAM: Players can signup solo or with a teammate. If you register Solo, then we will assign a teammate to you. If you signup with a teammate BOTH players need to register individually and you are encouraged to choose ANY partner you want. You can play with a fellow Tour player, guests or a non golfer that may be your spouse, parent, friend or your kid!

*Note: For team events, you DO NOT need to signup with your selected Season Long Teammate. That relationship only applies to collecting points for the Team Championship at end of year. For all team events during the season you can team up with any player you choose.

HOW DOES IT WORK: This is a fun one! Twice a year we host an epic and fun contest for everyone on a par 3 course and it’s called the Pitch N Sip Invitational! Open to ALL members and guests, please pick a partner and come compete and have a blast. This event was created to do two things: Create a fun tournament for players to compete in a unique format and get to know one another AND encourage players to play with other players including teaming up with non golfers to introduce them to the game. The unique format keeps it fair and fun for all players.

1st 9 Holes: will be 2 man scramble with a twist! Traditional scramble each player hits their shot and each team plays the best shot each time until you make it in the hole. This is the same EXCEPT we add a Tee flip challenge! That means that after both players hit a shot, you flip a tee between you and your partner and whoever the tee points to that’s the ball you play next. You do this for every shot EXCEPT on the green. If your next shot is on the green then just play standard scramble until the ball is in the hole. REMEMBER NO GIMMIES.

2nd 9 holes will be alternate shot format. After a brief intermission after 9, you will meet at your first hole (playing with a different pairing this time) and meet your playing partners. For alternate shot, you need to get with your teammate and you will each only get 3 clubs to play with. The format is simple, you work with your partner to decide who will tee off on the even number holes and the other will tee off on the odd number holes. Then, after tee off you alternate shots until you make it in the hole.

PRE ROUND: Arrive about an hour early to play in the Hittin Links Putting Contest and then it’s game time! There will be lots of sponsors for prizes for both winning and giveaway. Teams will tee off on hole 1 consecutively and you will be paired with another 2 man team.

MID ROUND: After you complete the first 9 hole scramble, please get with your teammate and choose which 3 clubs you guys will pick and put the others in your car. Then please make your way to hole 1 for your second 9 holes alternate shot. Remember, for round 2 will start at 12pm. And because it’s alt shot we will be combining groups. So group 1 and group 2 will now tee off together. Group 3 and 4 will tee off together after. And so on…

POST ROUND: After completing the round, players are encouraged to hang around and watch the other teams finish. Once all teams complete, we will run the finale to the Putting Contest and after that we will have the trophy ceremony for the winners. After the ceremony ends, players are encouraged to meetup at a local brewery for a fun hang with the crew. The meetup for this event will be at: 21st Amendment Brewing in San Leandro for good food, good eats and a good time.

FLIGHTS/DIVISIONS: Scoring will be net. All teams will be split into flights and each flight will have a winner. If we don’t have enough teams to have the first 2 flights below then 1 and 2 will combine. Flights set as follows:

1: FIREBALL FLIGHT: GOLFER + GOLFER (Lower Combined Handicaps)

This flight is reserved for all teams comprised of 2 golfers of ANY handicap. This is a Net event, so you can team up with a low or high handicap, it doesn’t matter. This flight will take the lowest combined handicaps of teams

2: PINK WHITNEY FLIGHT: GOLFER + GOLFER (Higher Combined Handicaps)

This flight is reserved for all teams comprised of 2 golfers of ANY handicap. This is a Net event, so you can team up with a low or high handicap, it doesn’t matter. This flight will take the highest combined handicaps of teams

3: SKREWBALL GOLFER + NON GOLFER (ALL or NO handicaps)

This flight is reserved for all teams comprised of 1 golfer AND a non golfer. Pick anyone to be your partner. Your spouse, parent, friend or your kid! This is a Net event so no net scoring. All the competition in the flight has a non golfer.

WINNERS: Winners of the event will be determined as follows:

• Top team from each flight with the lowest combined score between the 18 holes wins the tournament, points, prizes and money. All other players win points from position 2-20
• Top Team from each flight: $100 Tour Credit per player, Custom trophies and Liquor/Beer and 500 Tour Points
• All other players earn points based on place.
